A Colorado woman was arrested and charged with second-degree murder after she cut off her boyfriend’s p– during a fight on May 14, 2024. Then-32-year-old Shenting Guo got into an argument with her boyfriend over a possible pregnancy. Guo and her 38-year-old boyfriend, Dustin Nalls, were in a hotel room at Woodspring Suites on Market Street at that time.

Their argument escalated when her boyfriend did not let her sleep. She warned him that if he didn’t let her sleep, she would stab him. She claimed to have stabbed him in the leg in the morning. According to the affidavit, the two argued about who the father of the child was, and she thought he had gotten her pregnant again.

Guo admitted she was not trying to kill him but admitted to stabbing him because she was so angry. In anger, she cut off his manhood. She wanted to confirm if he was sleeping or just pretending to, so she chopped off his genitals. The affidavit further explained she went to the nearby store to get antibiotics, rubbing alcohol, and beer. She claimed Nalls was not in pain at that time.

She did give him ibuprofen for pain and even tried to administer CPR when he succumbed to his injuries. The police responded to their hotel room around 8.50 p.m. and saw the man unresponsive. The hotel room bed was covered in blood. The officers saw Guo was administering CPR to the man while being hysterical.

They also saw that his p– was cut off and thrown in the trash can of the hotel room. EMTs pronounced him dead at the scene. While speaking to one of the officers, Guo told him to “arrest me now.” She was charged with second-degree murder and held at Mesa County Detention Center. She was also charged with causing bodily injury, recklessly causing the death of another person, and knowingly abusing a corpse.

Now Guo has pleaded not guilty to murder by reason of insanity. She will have to go through a psychiatric evaluation to determine if she’s on the schizophrenia spectrum. Earlier, the investigation concluded she was incompetent to stand trial but could recover.

If she’s proven to be insane, she’ll be placed in the Colorado Department of Human Services mental health facility. She will be held there until she is ready to face trial.
