A mom of three, Desiree was botched by birth as she noticed her breasts did not grow symmetrically during puberty. She hid this even from her own mother and would balance her figure using additional padding and sometimes tissues or socks.
She recalled an embarrassing moment when she used to stuff tissues inside her clothes. While on a date with her boyfriend, who’s now her husband, stuffing from her clothes fell onto the floor when she bent over.
Eventually, she shared her insecurity with her mother as well as her long-term partner. Her mother suggested plastic surgery to fix the issue before her big day. Right before her wedding, she underwent surgery, but the procedure created new problems. The implants were not in the right position.
Despite the botched surgery, she had to walk down the aisle and go on with her life. Her surgeon had told her he couldn’t do much for her. Desiree’s husband was supportive throughout her struggles, and the two welcomed three daughters.
