Hollywood star Amanda Seyfried occupied headline space after she refused to apologize for the comments she made after Charlie Kirk’s death. Charlie Kirk was killed on September 10 while making a speech at Utah Valley University.
In her interview with Who What Wear, Amanda said, “I’m not f—–g apologizing for that. I mean, for f—‘s sake, I commented on one thing. I said something that was based on actual reality and actual footage and actual quotes.”

The Mean Girls star added in her interview, “What I said was pretty d— factual, and I’m free to have an opinion, of course.
Amanda Seyfried, who defended her statement in a strongly worded Instagram post this year, in her recent interview, looked back at the statement and said, “Thank God for Instagram. I was able to give some clarity, and it was about getting my voice back because I felt like it had been stolen and recontextualized—which is what people do, of course.”
A little background for those who require one. Amanda shared an Instagram post where she explained what she meant. “We’re forgetting the nuance of humanity,” Amanda began the post with these words.
The actress added, “I can get angry about misogyny and racist rhetoric and ALSO very much agree that Charlie Kirk’s murder was absolutely disturbing and deplorable in every way imaginable. No one should have to experience this level of violence. This country is grieving too many senseless and violent deaths and shootings. Can we agree on that at least?”
The comments that put Amanda on the trends list earlier this year were a remark she made post Charlie Kirk’s death. “He was hateful,” Amanda Seyfried had said, for which she received a lot of flak online.
Amanda Seyfried wasn’t the only actor who publicly disagreed with Charlie Kirk’s views and opinions. Hollywood veteran Jamie Lee Curtis, said this in an interview right after Charlie Kirk’s death.

“I disagreed with him on almost every point I ever heard him say, but I believe he was a man of faith, and I hope in that moment when he died, that he felt connected with his faith,” Jaimee Lee Curtis said.
Meanwhile, Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk, in a recent interview, opened up about how she feels about Charlie Kirk’s assassination conspiracies, which are doing the rounds on social media, calling the claims “evil.”
Erika Kirk added, “This is tormenting. It is evil to accuse a wife of trying to kill her husband with absolutely no truth behind.” She also labelled the theories “malicious” and “traumatizing.”
Erika also slammed those who celebrated the death of her late husband. “You want to watch in high-res the video of my husband being murdered, and laugh, and say he deserves it? There’s something very sick in your soul, and I’m praying that God saves you,” Erika Kirk said during an interview.
Charlie Kirk co-founded Turning Point USA in 2012, and he doubled up as its executive director. Critics often slammed him for his conservative views about abortion rights, childbirth, marriage, and safety.
