Obama Goes On Bike Ride With Family At Martha’s Vineyard

President Obama’s leisure activities have been a hot topic recently. News broke earlier this week that the President played cards on the night Osama Bin Laden was killed and now the hard-hitting news that the Obama family went for a bike ride in Martha’s Vineyard has hit the web.

Obama is currently on vacation with his wife Michelle and his two daughters Malia and Sasha. The president said that he’s having a “great time as always” at Martha’s Vineyard.

The president is on vacation but he is still surrounded by members of the press. Obama was able to get away for a little private family time, however, as the president, the first lady, and Malia and Sasha took a morning bike ride through the Manuel F. Correllus State Forest in West Tisbury.

The President has been on vacation for about a week in Martha’s Vineyard but he’s still keeping up to date on global news. National Security Adviser Susan Rice briefed the president on the situation in Egypt this week.

The president said: “The United States strongly condemns the steps that have been taken by Egypt’s interim government and security forces… We call on the Egyptian authorities to respect the universal rights of the people. We call on those who protest to do so peacefully”

The President will return to the White House on Sunday.
