Ricky Schroder: Sorry, But I Didn’t Hit That Woman

Ricky Schroder says he really didn’t hit the female LAX worker, but he apologizes anyway.

The former Silver Spoons actor says he didn’t hit the female LAX worker, but he may have hurt her feelings. For that, he says, “I’m sorry.”

Ricky Schroder was getting ready to board a train in Washington, D.C. when TMZ reporters asked him about him allegedly hitting a ticket checker attempting to reach his gate at LAX on Monday. He said the whole thing was a “complete misunderstanding” but he didn’t hit anyone.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Ricky Schroder’s accuser said that after he was told he was not allowed to carry three bags, only two, he insisted on the three. When the female ticket agent went to grab his boarding pass, Ricky Schroder allegedly slapped her hand.

Ricky Schroder’s lawyer Marty Singer claims that the woman was rude and confrontational, and slapped the phone out of his hand. When he went to grab it, she yelled, “Assault!”

Witnesses in the area deny her allegations, since if Ricky Schroder had actually acted in the way she had described, he would have been arrested. TMZ asked him about his actions, to which he said it was nothing.

Thinking back, Ricky Schroder does remember some physical contact, but it wasn’t intentionally rude:

“My phone dropped and I went to grab it … and that’s what happened.”

To Ricky Schroder’s accuser, he directed these words with an apologetic smile:

“I apologize to you, Miss, if I hurt your feelings and I didn’t mean to. … Sweetheart, God bless you … and I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.”

How do you feel about Ricky Schroder apologizing, and claiming he never hit the woman?
