Details on the mysterious “secret life” of Las Vegas mass shooter Stephen Paddock began to emerge this weekend, and on Sunday a 27-year-old Vegas prostitute revealed that Paddock harbored violent sexual fantasies, which he would act out on her in their repeated sex sessions, according to a report by Britain’s Sun on Sunday newspaper.
The prostitute spoke on condition of anonymity to the paper, meaning that whether she is the same prostitute police say was the “mystery woman” seen with Paddock in the days leading up to the horrific massacre remains unclear.
In addition to his disturbing sexual preferences, Paddock was also “paranoid” according to the 27-year-old prostitute, and would go on diatribes about his belief that the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks were an “inside job” committed by the United States government itself.
The escort shared text messages from Paddock with the British newspaper, according to the report, in which he described certain of his violent sexual desires and also boasted that his father was a bank robber. Paddock told the escort that even though he did not know his father well, he had inherited “bad blood” and was “born bad,” according to the text messages shared by the 27-year-old woman.

According to the report, Paddock would often hire prostitutes to accompany him on his frequent trips into Las Vegas — trips on which he showed up alone, leaving his 62-year-old girlfriend Marilou Danley behind.
“He seemed like he wanted to help,” said the 27-year-old escort, who explained that she was coming out of an abusive relationship and was broke when she met Paddock. “We would go to the casinos together and he would spend hours drinking and gambling. But when he would have a winning streak, we would go back and have really aggressive and violent sex.”
The text messages she revealed to the Sun showed Paddock telling the woman that during sex, he wanted to tie her up so tightly that she “screamed for help.”
“He had a dark and twisted side,” she said. But she added that she nonetheless saw no signs that Paddock was capable of carrying out the massacre that he is now believed to have committed.
Paddock’s family members have described him as “the most boring one in the family,” according to his brother Patrick Paddock, who added that Stephen Paddock was “the least violent one in the family, over a 30-year history,” according to a report in the New York Times.
Paddock’s father, Patrick Benjamin Paddock aka Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, was a career criminal whose rap sheet included bank robberies, car thefts and passing bad checks.
He was described as “diagnosed as being psychopathic” by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which placed the elder Paddock on its famed “Most Wanted” list from 1969 until his capture in 1978. But he also claimed to be an ordained minister and planned to open his own church in Las Vegas where he would perform marriage ceremonies, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The prostitute who spoke to the British newspaper said that during one of the nine appointments she had with Stephen Paddock, they stayed in a room at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, the same hotel where Paddock rented the room which he used as a sniper’s nest to fire on the crowd at a country music concert on the night of October 1.
In fact, newly uncovered records show that Paddock stayed at a hotel in the Mandalay Bay complex as early as September 5, renting a luxurious penthouse suite, one of several visits he made there in September, the month before the mass shooting.
