‘RHOC’s’ Shannon Beador Warned By Bravo, ‘Your ‘Weight Gain Is Out Of Control!’

The battle of the bulge is officially on! Shannon Beador is doing her best to shed pounds, but that hasn’t stopped Bravo producers from warning the Real Housewives of Orange County star that her “weight gain is out of control.”

Will Beador lose weight and remain on the show?

Bravo Watch is reporting that producers warned Beador about gaining too much weight and believe she’s on the verge of becoming obese. While the fat shaming kicked into high gear, there’s no telling how fans will react to the network’s decision to criticize Beador’s weight.

“Producers have approached Shannon about her weight gain,” an insider spilled. “They told her that she is becoming obese, and that she needs to lose the weight.”

Beador was open about her weight gains through Season 11 of RHOC. She even hosted an event on Facebook to get motivated about losing the extra pounds. Sadly, the live training sessions were short-lived, and it didn’t take long before Beador complained about her struggles on Twitter.

“Home eating less, exercising each day and still gaining weight!” Beador shared online. “@TamraBarney called Dr. Lee for me today. #knowitshormones #hategettingold.”

According to All About the Tea, one fan replied by telling Beador how she’s “gained a pound every year” since undergoing a hysterectomy. In response, a dejected Beador said, “I’m at a pound every couple days. Unbelievable…”

Beador might blame old age for the weight struggles, but close friends and family believe there is another cause behind the extra weight. “Those close to Shannon Believe that she is stress eating – due to all of the abuse allegations about David coming to the surface,” a source explained. “She needs to bring her emotional eating under control, because production is watching.”

Bravo has not released an official statement regarding Beador’s weight gain. With production for the new season still months away, Beador has some time to shed weight before things kick back into high gear.

If she doesn’t lose weight, then there’s a good chance that her spot on the Real Housewives of Orange County will be jeopardy. After all, Bravo likes their reality stars fit and glamorous, not overweight and emotionally distraught.

Beador struggled with the drama thrown her way this past season. According to Inquisitr, her biggest feuds were with Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson. Towards the end of the season, Beador found herself in the middle of Dodd’s epic fight during the trip to Ireland.

“As far as the bus ride goes, here we saw the cruel and erratic Kelly we have become familiar with at this point,” Beador shared at the time. “I had reached an understanding with her on the trip to Ireland, but she decided to convince herself that I somehow had a sinister motive when ordering drinks on our final night to have fun.”

Shannon Beador continued: “Kelly attacks people with the cruelest words she can say. It is so incredibly hurtful. I was beyond upset that Vicki sat there on the bus like nothing happened. Once again, Vicki is not telling the truth and playing both sides of the fence.”

Of course, Beador also took issue with Gunvalson spreading lies about her marriage with David Beador. During the final installment of the three-part reunion, Beador walked out when Gunvalson refused to retract her story about David’s alleged abuse.

It’s not clear if the drama on the show is connected to Beador’s weight gain, but it definitely isn’t helping the situation. That being said, Beador previously told ET Online that she desperately wants to get back in shape, so perhaps things will start turning around for the reality star in the near future.

“I’ve gained a lot of weight,” she admitted to the outlet in August. “There are a lot of haters out there that say, ‘Oh, it’s because she’s so upset and her marriage isn’t doing well.’ This is happy fat! This is fact that comes about when you eat whatever you want when you’re going out to eat with your husband and your family and when you have a few cocktails. This is what happens.”

In addition to her confession, Beador revealed that she has been working with a nutritionist to help get her eating habits under control. “I am working with Dr. Tim, who was on the show last season with me,” she explained. “We are doing Facebook Live videos three times a week, and they’re not crazy hard, but we’re gonna get there.”

At the start of Beador’s new workout routine, she weighed 148.8 pounds and had around 32 percent of body fat. Her goal was to get in shape before production for the reunion started in October and be around the 120-pound mark.

“[So far], I’ve lost one pound, but I’ve lost seven percent body fat,” she stated. “I’ve got a reunion to film in October. That’s my due day to get better. To get slimmer again. And I will.”

Hopefully, Shannon Beador will be back to her healthy and happy self when Season 12 of the Real Housewives of Orange County returns next year.
