Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes’ son, Brentt, was helping his mom out on her So Nasty, So Rude comedy tour in Chicago when he was attacked and robbed by an irate fan.
Leakes’ son was manning the merchandise stand on Wednesday night at The Promontory in Chicago. TMZ reported that the reality television star’s son was attacked by an angry fan who was demanding a refund.
When Leakes’ 17-year-old didn’t give the customer their cash back, the guy snatched Brentt’s backpack which contained his laptop and his wallet.
Police in Chicago reportedly have surveillance footage of the robbery, but have not been able to make any arrests yet.
Brennt was not injured during the robbery and is said to be most upset about losing his ID. Even reality stars have to sit in the lines at the DMV.

Since joining the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Nene Leakes has branched out with her own clothing line on HSN and has taken on acting roles such as Coach Roz in Fox’s Glee.
Leakes has been on the road on her So Nasty, So Rude comedy tour.
“So Nasty, So Rude” is a phrase Nene coined after one of the reunion episodes of RHOA.
Just yesterday, Bravo released an insanely dramatic preview for Season 9 of Real Housewives of Atlanta. However, Nene Leakes was clearly missing from the equation in the commercial.
The teaser for the new season of RHOA confirmed that Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams, and Sheree Whitfield will be returning.
The Inquisitr reported that Bravo is keeping details about Season 9 of the Atlanta Housewives franchise tightly under wraps.
Nene Leakes was reportedly driving a hard bargain with Bravo this year, being the show’s most in-demand cast member, according to Radar Online. Leakes had been earning around $2 million per season, which is by far more than any other cast member.
Leakes said, while hosting an episode of The Fashion Police, that Bravo turned to Kim Zolciak-Biermann to return to the show after refusing to give Nene more money.
“I heard once they couldn’t work their deal out with me, they went to Kim Zolciak. I’m just telling you the truth!”
Leakes was not willing to compromise on her demands; who knows if the reality star and Bravo have since worked out a deal.
“When we couldn’t work the deal out on me making appearances, then they went to Kim to work the same thing, I suppose. I’m assuming she took it.”
Kim Zolciak’s daughter Brielle spun the web a bit further when she tweeted out to fans that her mother made the show the hit it is today.
Nene had a seemingly good deal with Bravo last season; popping in when she felt like it, throwing in some shade at the women, and then bowing out peacefully before any of the drama really stirred up.
