Spinning Bright Light UFO Filmed Over Cumberland County, Maine [Video]

A witness in Cumberland County, Maine, reports filming a UFO with three bright lights that appeared to spin and hover in the air before disappearing.

According to the unnamed witness in a report filed as Case 77585 in the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) reporting database, he was at home with his wife and teenage son on July 4, 2016, when the mysterious sighting occurred at about 9:23 p.m.

It was his wife who first saw the object with bright lights hovering high in the sky when she looked out of the window, Open Minds-TV reports.

The witness was unable to determine whether the mysterious aerial object was a UFO or a drone, but he filmed it using a 60x HD camcorder.

“We all saw the object high in the sky and we filmed [it]using a 60x HD camcorder,” the witness stated.

“My wife looked out the window and saw an object with bright lights high in the sky.”

The object hovered in the air for several minutes while the witness filmed. While filming, he noticed that it had an “A”-shaped frame with red and green lights in the middle and three bright white lights on top.

“The object hovered stationary for several minutes,” he wrote. “Using my HD video camera zoomed in at 60x I could see an A-frame shape for each structure; a red and green light in the middle, and three bright, white lights on top.”

At first he thought the aerial object could be a large, sophisticated military drone, but while reviewing the footage, he noticed the object spinning for several minutes as it hovered in the air before it disappeared.

“We thought the object could be a sophisticated, large drone, possibly military.”

After the UFO disappeared, it reappeared at the same spot in the air a few minutes later, but facing a different direction, according to the witness.

It then hovered again for several minutes before disappearing a second time.

The witness noted that the zoom of his camera did not resolve the UFO well enough to reveal the details of its structure, but it appeared to change color as it hovered overhead.

“It hovered stationary again and then disappeared,” he wrote. “The video zoom did not resolve well, but the object appeared to change color all at once to red before it disappeared.”

The witness said his family was excited about the sighting and that his wife posted the video clip to her Facebook page.

Some of her Facebook friends thought it was a drone, but others were convinced it was a UFO.

MUFON said its representatives in Maine were investigating the sighting.

The clip is reminiscent of several video footage captured recently showing UFOs with three bright lights forming a triangle shape in the sky.

In June 2016, a witness in Davis, California, reported filming a triangular UFO that glided slowly across the night sky, emitting noises similar to a harmonic orchestra performing.

According to the witness, in a report filed as Case 43950 in the MUFON database on November 16, 2012, the sighting occurred at about 1:43 a.m. on October 2, 2012.

“I remember hearing a loud sound, of what seemed like horns, or trumpets from all around,” he told MUFON. “I remember it being very early in the morning, maybe near two a.m., and thinking, why isn’t anyone else waking to this sound.”

The witnessed notice three lights in a triangle formation and multicolored lights that marked the sides of a triangular structure.

A witness in Crawford County, Indiana, also reported to MUFON on May 26, 2016 (Case 76612) that he sighted on March 2, 2015, three mysterious bright orbs that hovered in a triangle formation in the sky as he drove home from work at about 3 a.m.

He was not able to determine whether the three bright lights belonged to a single triangle-shaped craft or whether they were separate orbs floating in a triangle formation in the sky.

A witness in Seattle, Washington, also reported (Case 77300) filming a UFO with bright flashing lights. But because the footage was captured in the daytime he thought the bright lights might be reflections of sunlight and that the flying object was made of a highly reflective material.

“I don’t believe they were giving off their own light but rather reflecting the sunlight.”

The video (see above) appears to show two UFOs with powerful bright lights flying in the sky in broad daylight.
