Lamar Odom Relapse: Khloe Kardashian ‘Hurt And In Pain’ After Odom’s Alleged Drug Use

As reports of Lamar Odom’s alleged drug use hit the blogosphere, estranged wife Khloe Kardashian can reportedly only do one thing: shake her head in disbelief.

According to Hollywood Life, Khloe is “hurt and in pain” after hearing of Odom’s most recent alleged relapse, but “believes Lamar is self destructive and for her own sake, she can’t be bothered with his problems.”

On Friday, TMZ reported that family and friends of Lamar Odom have become concerned as of late because the former NBA player is reportedly “acting very strange lately.” TMZ indicated that Lamlam’s friends believe he’s off the wagon.

In order to help Lamar get back on the straight and narrow, friends reportedly approached Lam in an effort to convince him to go to rehab. TMZ reported that Lamar refused, instead insisting that he doesn’t need any help. According to the celebrity media outlet, Odom’s friends found drug paraphernalia scattered throughout Odom’s Calabasas home. According to the report, that paraphernalia included “crack pipes, roaches and baggies.”

The news is said to have shaken estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, but according to the unnamed source for Hollywood Life, the 31-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star simply can’t be the one to save Odom anymore.

“She’s done! Khloe’s not going to attempt to help or rescue Lamar anymore. It’s clear to her that he doesn’t want anyone’s help and it’s also clear Lamar’s going to do whatever the hell Lamar wants to do.”

In October, Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Las Vegas-area brothel after an apparent drug overdose. Then, the former Los Angeles Laker was given a 50 percent chance at survival.

At the time, it was Khloe Kardashian who rushed to Odom’s side, sitting with him in his hospital room and helping to nurse her husband back to health. Kardashian stuck by Odom’s side throughout his recovery process, eventually moving him to a Los Angeles hospital so that he could continue his recovery. For a while, Odom was rumored to have been staying with Kardashian until he found a place of his own.

Once he was well enough to appear in public, Odom made his first official appearance in February alongside Khloe and the Kardashian family as the women traveled to New York City to support Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 launch. Since then, Odom has often been spotted hanging in bars and is reportedly drinking alcohol once again. According to the TMZ report, some close to Odom fear that the former basketball player believes he’s invincible.

The news of an alleged Lamar Odom drug relapse comes on the heels of the news that Khloe Kardashian filed from divorce from her estranged husband for a second time. The pair were married in 2009 after a whirlwind romance but later filed for divorce in 2013 amid allegations of cheating and drug use. When Odom was hospitalized, Kardashian withdrew the divorce paperwork so that she could continue to make medical decisions for her husband.

After the overdose, there were questions about whether or not Khloe and Lamar would eventually reconcile. Khloe herself even said that being able to do her first marriage again would be her “best dream,” all the while making it clear that she was more concerned about Odom’s recovery than any romantic feelings she might have.
