A 28-year-old Los Angeles model and influencer, Adva Lavie, also known as Mia Ventura, is accused of using dating apps and social media to target victims, lure them, steal from them and threaten them if they approached police.
Police say that between 2023 and 2025, Lavie began romantic relationships with older men and younger women online to gain access to their homes in areas including Beverly Hills and Westlake Village. Once inside, she is accused of stealing cash, gold and designer items.
The term “honey trapping,” derived from “honeypot,” refers to luring someone into a compromising situation, often for blackmail or fraud. Authorities allege Lavie’s actions fall under this category.
According to ABC7, Adva Lavie was charged with two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information, two counts of grand theft, one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and one count of first-degree residential burglary. Police further allege that Lavie posed as a travel companion for influential men she met on dating apps and then stole their credit cards.
The model is scheduled to be arraigned on April 6 in Van Nuys. She has pleaded not guilty to all charges, according to the outlet. If convicted, Lavie faces more than 11 years in California state prison.

Police also issued a special search bulletin with her photographs and details describing her physical features, including being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 104 pounds. According to People magazine, Lavie has appeared in erotic magazines such as Playboy and Penthouse and has claimed to be Israel’s first top model on OnlyFans.
OnlyFans is a legal subscription-based platform in the United States when operated in compliance with applicable laws and content guidelines, though it is widely known for hosting sexualized content. However, authorities allege Lavie’s actions constitute criminal activity. She is currently out of custody on an ankle monitor and has been ordered to stay away from the alleged victims.
Michael Sartain, host of the podcast “Access Vegas,” previously claimed that the model stole cash and credit cards from women’s purses during a recording session.

According to NewsNation, during a special election night episode of his show, Lavie allegedly entered a green room and stole credit cards and cash from the purses of several female panelists.
“She got up at the 45-minute mark, and she was gone for 45 minutes and just went through everyone’s bag,” Sartain said.
Authorities say Lavie’s alleged network may extend beyond Southern California, with police reports filed in states including Nevada and Florida, as well as internationally in France and Italy.
