India and Sri Lanka cricket fans can watch their two teams streaming live online as the old rivals battle for spot in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup Final, in the first semifinal match Tuesday morning — Monday night in United States time zones — in Dhaka, Bangladesh. India will be going for its fifth berth in the U19 Final out the 11 times the tournament has been played. Three of those previous four trips to the final ended with India bringing home the trophy.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, has never won a U19 Cricket World Cup and will do everything they can to earn only their second U19 Cricket World Cup Final spot in the bi-annual competition. The senior Sri Lanka team has one World Cup trophy, beating Australia in the 1996 tournament.
The winner of the first U19 semifinal goes on to meet either host Bangladesh or West Indies, who face each other in the second semifinal on Thursday morning. Neither of those two teams has ever won the U19 Cricket World Cup.

For India, the match against Sri Lanka — who cruised past favored England by six wickets inside of 36 overs in their quarterfinal — will pose the toughest test that the young squad has faced in the 2016 tournament. England has won all four of its matches — but three of them have come against "minnow" countries Nepal, Namibia, and Ireland.
Only New Zealand — who disappointed overall in the tournament winning just one of three group stage matches — represented a Test-playing nation, among India's opponents.
In Monday's fourth quarterfinal, a spirited West Indies youth team shocked Pakistan, as Young Windies bowlers held the favorites to a mere 57 for five through 21 overs. Then Umair Masood took over and posted a century, with 113, as Pakistan built their total to 227 for six. But it wasn't enough, as West Indies needed only 40 overs to spoil the chace at an all-Indian Subcontinent semifinal round.

Sri Lanka U19 Captain Charith Asalanka feels that even though India are favorites to win the semifinal and to go to capture their fourth U19 World Cup, his team has the advantage based on the strength of competition they have each faced so far.
"It is an advantage for us. India played Namibia in quarterfinals whereas we played England," Asalanka told ESPN Cricinfo. "They are such different teams. We know India's strengths and weaknesses. It will be advantageous for us. Beating England was the best win for us. We did a good job with our bowling and fielding. We are in really good form."

While historically, India vs. Sri Lanka contests have been dominated by the bat, the spin-friendly wicket at Dhaka could pose entirely different challenges for both teams — and an advantage to spin-heavy Sri Lanka.
