Josh Duggar Remains In Rehab After Scandals Or Bails Early? Anna Duggar Gets Alarmingly Thin Amid Stress [Photos]

Josh Duggar initially was reported to have checked into a rehab for sex addiction following multiple scandals. The oldest son of the Duggars confessed to molesting five underage girls, several of whom were his sisters, cheating on his wife Anna Duggar, paying for accounts on the Ashley Madison site for infidelity, and becoming addicted to pornography.

And for Anna, the months since that first confession from Josh to now have been increasingly stressful as she takes on the role of single mom with four kids in Duggarville.

Although initially Anna was not seen in public, new photos have shown that Josh’s wife has lost a significant amount of weight, leaving fans questioning whether she is dangerously thin, reported Fashion & Style.

Thus far, Anna has shown up at the gala wedding for cousin Amy Duggar King as well as the birthday party for Jessa Duggar Seewald. Amy shared a photo on social media and defended Anna from negativity.

“Any negative comments will be deleted, just try me. She’s beautiful!” she emphasized.

However, Amy’s new husband recently mocked Josh and cheered for Brad Paisley after the country crooner made fun of Duggar during the CMAs, as the Inquisitr reported.

“We don’t have to be lonely at farmersonly.com… And your sister, tooooo. Your cheating side will tell on you… Josh Duggar,” joked Paisley.

Amy’s husband was delighted, as he shared on social media.

“@bradpaisley you are the man!!! #bestthingever #cmt #cmtawards.”

But although her husband made fun of Josh, Amy and fans are concerned about the increasingly slender Anna. They blame Josh for her extreme weight loss. Duggar even cheated on his wife while she was pregnant.

Although Anna reportedly visited her own parents in Florida, she has since returned to Arkansas with the rest of the Duggars. The 19 Kids and Counting clan are preparing for the upcoming specials to be aired on TLC.

Although the new series is called Jill & Jessa: Counting On, with the focus on Jessa as well as Jill Duggar Dillard and their husbands, Ben Seewald and Derick Dillard, it’s been reported that many other family members will be featured.

So as life moves on for the rest of the Duggars, what’s life like for Josh inside the Bible-based Reformers Unanimous rehab facility? The 27-year-old isn’t having an easy time of it in rehab for sex addiction, according to People.

The Reformers director of development, Tony Richardson, admitted that the treatment program isn’t a country club or elite college atmosphere. Formerly a nursing home, the facility now houses two men in each room. They get no access to cell phones or email, and minimal TV time. On weekends, they can view only television programming that has been pre-approved.

The cost is $7,500 for six months. As for Josh’s relationship with the Duggars while he is there? Richardson would not address Josh specifically. However, in general, family support plays a key role. Following 60 days in rehab, patients are allowed time off with family members or can entertain visitors who have been pre-approved on Saturdays and Sundays.

“When people leave and go home, we have an aftercare plan we encourage for their success and continued victory – getting involved with a local Bible-believing church and continuing on with their relationship with the Lord,” added the director.

But will Josh stay for the full six months? That’s up to Duggar, according to the rehab rules. The half-a-year stay is measured in 45-day intervals, which means that Josh could exit after 45 days, although he then would not have fulfilled the treatment program.

The Reformers approach also includes manual labor, ranging from gardening to mechanics.

“We deal with everything from a sin standpoint,” added Richardson. “We call it to the school of discipleship. The closer you get to the Lord, the further you get from what brought you here.”

But is what brought Josh to rehab something that his wife can forgive? Anna initially seemed to indicate her forgiveness on social media.

However, some reports indicated that Josh may have skipped out on the rehab program early. The 19 Kids and Counting plane initially traveled to Rockford, Illinois, where Reformers Unanimous is located, reported Perez Hilton.

But since then, Josh has not been seen at the required church services and meetings.

“Please understand that if you do not work as unto the Lord, you will not remain in the home,” stipulates the program.

On a group trip to North Love Baptist Church, observers revealed that Josh was not present. Adding to the mystery of where’s Josh, the Duggar plane stopped off in Arkansas, home state of the Duggars. Is the 27-year-old secretly hiding somewhere in the home of a family friend after bailing early on the program that requires manual labor and has strict rules?
