‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Star Victor Garber Offers Spoilers For ‘The Flash’/’Arrow’ Crossover

It’s only a matter of time before the highly-anticipated crossover episode of The Flash and Arrow hits televisions. With that in mind, a few more spoilers have been leaked in regard to the epic crossover, and how some of the newly-introduced characters will lead to the upcoming series, Legends of Tomorrow.

In fact, in an interview with Variety, Victor Garber, who plays Dr. Martin Stein in The Flash, discussed the new series in depth. Although the actor stated his character would remain on The Flash, he did describe just how the crossover episode will lead to the premiere of Legends of Tomorrow.

“I honestly have not left this lot where I am,” the actor stated. “But I know that the other characters have, and even though I don’t really know what happens, I know it’s all part of the same world and the lead-up to the premiere of Legends. By the time it hits, I think people will be really excited and ready for it.”

With the new series set to include a number of new and exciting characters, Garber went on to describe them as a “dysfunctional family.” Despite this characteristic, the time traveling heroes manage to band together in order to fight the evil plans of Vandal Savage, whom Garber describes as one of the worst evils yet.

“That’s, to me, the interesting and unique part of this series,” Garber explained in the interview. “You have this dysfunctional family all together and traveling through time and trying to combat the worst possible evil history has ever known.”

Garber went on to admit that it is this family atmosphere that develops between the characters that enables them to accomplish so much. Apparently, it is also one reason why he agreed to be a part of the series moving forward.

“In every situation, every person has their own idea that they think is the best, and Rip Hunter, played by Arthur Darvill, is no exception. He’s sort of the captain, but you find out so many things about each one of them as we go on – that’s the reason I wanted to be involved in this, because it’s really fun,” he shared. “That’s what, I think, keeps people watching – that connection, and they do that really well on Legends as they do on the other shows, and that’s what keeps me interested, frankly.”

Meanwhile, it has not been revealed when the crossover episode will take place during the season, but, according to Franchise Herald, the installment will feature no less than nine superheroes. With that in mind, the known cast members set to be featured in the episode include Wentworth Miller, Caity Lotz, Falk Hentschel, Casper Crump, Brandon Routh, and Ciara Renee.

At the same time, Just Jared is reporting that filming for the crossover episode is nearly complete, which means fans likely have a bit longer to wait until it finally airs. In fact, some photos have been released from the set that include interactions between Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin and Ciara Renee. Renee is set to appear as Hawkgirl in Legends of Tomorrow.

At this point in time, plot details concerning the merging of these worlds are still unknown. However, with so many superheroes set to combine forces to battle whatever big bad the show can throw their way, the crossover episode is sure to be filled with plenty of high stakes drama.

With the crossover episode set to air any week now, fans won’t want to miss The Flash as its second season continues Tuesday nights on The CW, and Arrow on Wednesday nights on The CW.

Look for Legends of Tomorrow to premiere in early 2016.
