Fitness Icon Brittany Renner Goes Off Via Instagram — Fake Body Allegations Made Her ‘Turn Up’ On Accusers

If you know of Brittany Renner, you are aware that she likes to express herself as she deems necessary. Sometimes, she also has a filter. But not today, folks.

Brittany is usually a gleeful woman with a lot to show for her hard work. Constantly under scrutiny from naysayers, she is not one who is unfamiliar to trolling “haters.” However, it would seem as though they touched a nerve today. Not that any other day is less challenging to hold her peace, but today, she let loose on the accusers.

Via Renner’s Instagram, she tackled a few issues within her post. And while she was unfiltered, she still seemed to keep it semi-professional and would not point out any individual names or usernames. To start, Brittany Renner noted as follows.

“First thing’s first, I got time today. This subject for me is equivalent to beating a dead horse…but hey, I like to take things overboard every now and then…so why not! Since I’ve been on the internet, scratch that, since I’ve been ‘that b***’ on the internet, I constantly deal with people questioning my body.”

The thing about Brittany is this: if she has self-esteem issues, it is definitely not with her looks. She is not ashamed to get in front of the camera and shame nearly any female who thinks she’s “cute.” During Renner’s address, she tackles the issue of confidence as well.

“I have never had plastic surgery of any sort and never f***ing will because I am actually happy the way God created me. I would gain weight in the soccer off-season, [but] I couldn’t keep weight on in my stressful a** relationship I chose to be in for d**n near 5 years. And now that I’ve been on my own for a year and 3 months, I’ve gained 12 pounds.”

Brittany owes her success to hard work and perseverance. If you look at her social media profiles, there is hardly a time when you do not see her in the gym, on the soccer field, etc. During the post, she tells her accusers that they clearly do not know the value of staying committed to fitness excellence and physical health because they cannot seem to wrap their minds around her body’s sculpt — in so many words.

As it seems, some have also questioned her genetic heritage. Renner mentions the fact that she’s half African-American and half Caucasian in ethnicity. And, for that reason, some of Brittany’s features look different from what people would expect them to appear.

Just as there are gender roles and expectations, there are also cultural ones. According to a report from the University of Illinois, social structure has a certain kink that affects other people’s outlooks on individuals if they’re different from preconceived thoughts.

“Every society has a gender structure. It’s very different…[from] thinking about how men and women are different — it has to do with what you expect from each other.”

This was a statement made by Barbara Risman in her book Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Gender (But Were Afraid to Ask). To take that into account as far as ethnical culture is concerned, the same applies. People expect a specific type of reaction or look based on who you are or from where you come. But Brittany Renner isn’t sitting down on that topic. She has talked about it before, but today, she wanted to be extra clear, it appears.

To her haters, the fitness icon states as follows.

“Instead of making up bulls**t, focus on your short- and long-term goals. Even when I was broke as f**k, living in the basement in Michigan, I knew in my heart there was nothing in this world I couldn’t do. I been on…you weirdos searching for answers you’ll never find…just need to keep up…”

However, if you would like to read the post in its entirety, it is found at the end of this article — or at Brittany’s Instagram page.

All in all, sometimes it’s difficult to deal with internet trolls. Cyber-bullying takes on many shapes and forms. And the fact that accusations can go viral so quickly takes the act to another dimension in its effects on the victims. Brittany Renner is a fitness celebrity. Ideally, that’s her money with which these people are messing. What kind of damage would it do to her reputation if people started believing that her body was “paid for”?

While it may seem trivial, legally it’s a form of libel, according to Cornell University’s website. If Brittany Renner’s reputation were to be affected by the nonsense these people are spreading — given that it would affect her career and livelihood as well — she could possibly sue. As states the information on the university’s website, it mentions as follows.

“Libel is a method of defamation expressed by print, writing, pictures, signs, effigies, or any communication embodied in physical form that is injurious to a person’s reputation, exposes a person to public hatred, contempt or ridicule, or injures a person in his/her business or profession.”

Doesn’t seem too fun to be a troll now, right? Especially when everyone’s digital IPs can be traced if legally requested.
