When Osama bin Laden was executed by U.S. forces 23-year-old Maurice Harary ran back to his NY apartment and began building a website to sell his “Obama bin Laden Dead” T-Shirts, a venture that has earned the young adult more than $100,000 in just 2 days.
According to Harary, he has sold 10,000 shirts at $12 a piece so far, a total net gross of $120,000.
With the low cost of T-Shirt production we’ll assume he’s netted a profit of somewhere in the ball park of $60,000 to $90,000, not bad for less than a few hours worth of work on a simplistic website.
