This past week has seen a sudden rise in naked women crashing their cars in a bizarre manner. A Seattle car crash led to the power being killed for many, and a Texas car accident ended inside a Kohl’s.
A night started with a bang for one Houston Kohl’s. After leaving PF Chang’s, the naked woman drove her car straight into the store front, and witnesses say she was traveling around 60 mph when she hit.
“It was loud. She just kept going, wouldn’t stop. She just went straight into the wall,” described Godient Derbigney, a security guard for the shopping center.
Fortunately, the naked woman was not injured severely by the car accident, nor was anyone else hurt. She was taken to the hospital with minor cuts and bruises.
“That’s amazing. It’s a blessing,” said Derbigney, according to ABC.
The oddest part about the naked woman’s car crash was that the police officers on the scene do not believe she was drunk at all. The woman would not explain to office why she did not stop her car, or why her clothing was found on the floorboard of the vehicle, but apparently alcohol was not a factor in this case.
The Seattle car crash is another matter entirely. Detective Jason Houck, a spokesman for the King County Sheriff’s Department, said the second naked woman crashed her car into a utility pole, killing power for around 4,000 Seattle residents.
“Many people didn’t know until they woke up late for work because their alarms didn’t go off,” Houck said.
When firefighters and utility crews disabled the live electric wires around the crash scene, they found the 24-year-old woman inside the car. Reports say she was going in and out of consciousness, and police on the scene believe she may have been drunk.
A police spokesman said, “We don’t know why she was naked.”
According to the Daily Star, the naked woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Harbourview Medical Centre. While at the hospital, her blood was drawn to determine if she was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Depending on the outcome of the blood test, she could face criminal charges.
