Fox News Guest: ‘Women Are Less Ambitious, Should Be At Home With Kids,’ Gavin McInnes Leaves Female Commentator Stunned

A Fox News guest made the stunning declaration that the reason there is such a huge wage gap between genders is because women are “less ambitious” than men. But Gavin McInnes didn’t stop there; he went on to add that they would be much happier being at home alongside their children.

McInnes made these comments during his appearance on Hannity, and he rendered his fellow panelist Tamara Holder, who is an attorney, speechless because of them.

The writer and former co-founder of Vice Media started off his incredulous comments with, “Women do earn less in America because they choose to. They would rather go to their daughter’s piano recital than stay all night at work, working on a proposal, so they end up earning less. They’re less ambitious.”

Holder was hugely taken aback by these comments, so much so that she could only respond with, “What?”

This didn’t stop McInnes, though, as he continued, “This is sort of God’s way — this is nature’s way — of saying women should be at home with the kids. They’re happier there.”

At this point, Holder had heard enough and began to fight back against McInnes divisive comments, calling them utterly deplorable.

However McInnes continued to offend, stating, “If you were a real feminist you would support housewives and see them as the heroes and women who work wasting their time.”

Holder was so aghast that at one point she even asked, “Why am I sitting here?”

But this only provoked McInnes to continue, “You’re making a mistake. You would be much happier at home with a husband and children.”

This led host Sean Hannity to try and intervene. He pressed his face against his hand and exclaimed, “Oh boy,” while at the same time laughing in disbelief.

But Holder was far from impressed with Hannity’s decision to laugh, as she insisted, “This isn’t funny.”
