Alaskan Blogger Cory Williams Discovers ‘Coolest Sound Ever’ By Skipping Rock On Frozen Lake [Video]

Are you ready to hear “the coolest sound ever?” Well Alaskan video blogger Cory Williams thinks he has discovered it on a frozen lake in Alaska.

Cory “Mr. Safety” Williams, aka DudeLikeHELLA, was wandering around Alaska with his girlfriend recently, when he decided to skip some rocks on a frozen lake in Anchorage. The sound that was created by the skipping rocks blew his mind. Williams then declared the sound the “coolest.”

“This is the coolest sound I have ever heard!”

The amazing sound starts at around the 3:30 mark. Though the sound is pretty awesome, I think the best part of the video is Cory William’s reaction to it. You can see the shock and surprise on his face as he hears the sound for the first time. He can then be seen running around trying to find more rocks to skip.

Why was Williams so surprised by the sound that many other Alaskans have heard time and time again? Williams just recently moved to Alaska in August and has since been documenting all his new experiences on his vlog via Youtube. Another classic video is Williams first time seeing snow.

“I’m 33 years old and I’ve never seen it snow until now.”

The wonderful thing about Williams’ videos is the sense of wonder and excitement he exudes. It seems that Alaska is providing Williams with a number of different “new” experiences and he is taking them all in stride with the wonder of a child. It is fantastic to watch and experience the excitement with him through his videos. The reactions are priceless.

I wonder what his reaction would have been to seeing the Palin family brawl first-hand?

What do you think of the “coolest sound ever?” Have you ever heard this rock skipping phenomena in person?
