Jessica Arrendale: Fundraiser Raises Cash For Baby Hidden In Toilet By Fatally Shot Mom

Jessica Arrendale spent her last dying breath saving hiding her 6-month-old daughter, Cobie, in a toilet from the wrath of her enraged father, Antoine Davis. But now the Arrendale family’s two children are left without parents and a fundraiser is hoping to raise money to ensure the “children’s life remain in the state it was prior to the events that occurred.”

In a related report by The Inquisitr, the heroic story of Jessica Arrendale started when the father became extremely intoxicated, which is never good but Davis was allegedly known as being an abusive drunk. Arrendale tried to defend herself with a baseball bat, but she was overpowered by Davis, who struck her several times with the bat and may have even hurt her baby girl. Jessica tried to barricade herself in the bathroom but Davis burst into the room with a gun and shot her in the head.

When Arrendale crumpled, she fell over the toilet bowl while simultaneously dropping her daughter there instead of falling straight to the ground like she should have. Because Jessica’s body was covering poor baby Cobie inside the toilet bowl, Davis apparently searched house, including the baby room. When the child could not be found, he committed suicide. The baby was left in the toilet for over 13 hours before the police officers decided that it was safe to enter the home.

Jessica Arrendale leaves behind two children, ages six months and 15 years old. A friend of the Arrendale family, Leslie Tidwell Jordan, set up a GoFundMe fundraiser in order to raise money for the care of the children over the long term. The fundraiser also explains the need for the money.

“An amazing mother, daughter, sister and friend was taken way too soon. Jessica was one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. This fund has been set-up for the two children that she has left behind. Jessica was the sole provider for her household. As a friend, I feel obligated to do all things possible to make sure the children’s life remain in the state it was prior to the events that occured. There was no doubt of Jessica’s beauty, but when you truly knew her is when you saw the real beauty.”

The original fundraising goal for Jessica Arrendale’s children was $10,000, but in the last eight days over 800 generous people have donated over $37,000 as of the time of publication.
