UFO Sightings In Texas

It’s World UFO Day today. Appropriately, some UFOs were recently sighted across Texas.

According to OpenMinds.tv, witnesses reported a low-flying square shaped UFO over Austin, Texas on June 25 starting at 9:25pm. The UFO had four lights and emitted a low humming sound. Another UFO with the same description was spotted right after the first sighting.

According to the report of Case 57373 from the Mutual UFO Network, the witness spotted the UFO while driving westbound on an Austin street.

“I observed what appeared to be a square, low-flying object approaching me from the east,” said the witness. “There were four unwavering lights, two red and two yellow. There was very little space between the lights, giving the appearance of a compact square. Strangely, it seemed that one of the sides was its leading edge, not one of the angles.”

After slowing down for a better look at the UFO, the witness continued to track the object until it disappeared. But shortly after that, the same UFO was spotted again.

“As the object flew over me, I watched it in the rear view mirror until it was no longer visible. I turned right and drove about one-quarter mile south, stopping at the mailboxes on the corner to retrieve the day’s mail. I noticed what appeared to be the same object, but now coming from the south (i.e., from behind me). It seemed to be about 300 feet in altitude and traveling about 25 mph. It made a slight humming noise. I watched as it flew above me and continued south until it again disappeared from sight, about one-quarter mile further south.”

Austin has had a lot of UFO sightings lately. There were 287 sighted UFOs last May alone, according to OpenMinds. The UFO Alert Rating System moved the alert rating of Texas from a 2 to a 3, along with California, Florida, New York, Arizona, Ohio and North Carolina, which also had an increased amount of UFO sightings in the month of May.

Another UFO was spotted in Gainesville, Texas on Thursday, according to MySanAntanio.com. At 11am, an entire block full of people witnessed a triangle-shaped UFO floating low over a neighborhood. The witness reported, “The lights were lined up horizontally, and then right before it disappeared, the lights instantly lined up vertically as if the object turned on its side and then sped away.”

What do you think? Are these UFOs any cause for concern? Remember, a UFO is simply an unidentified flying object, not necessarily visitors from an alien planet.
