A boy being punched and slapped by an alleged female bully on a school bus gave her a taste of her own medicine.
The disturbing cell phone video of the school bus brawl (see embed below — NSFW for language) was originally uploaded to YouTube in April, and then taken down. It has now reemerged.
On the video, the victim of the attack unsuccessfully pleads with his tormentor, “please stop; I want to go home” as he tries to cover his face to shield himself from the blows.
An adult, who news reports suggests might have been the bus driver, apparently can be heard on the video saying “I can’t stop a thing. There’s nothing I can do. That’s why I tell ya’ll don’t fight. Nothing to do but call the police… callin’ 911 now.”
Most of the other kids seem to be just bystanders to the scuffle, until the pummeled victim suddenly turns the tables and puts the girl in what appears to be a choke hold.
At that point, another male, who reportedly could have been the girl’s brother, tries to intervene after the victim applied the sleeper hold that might make a WWE wrestler proud.
According to LiveLeak, “Eventually, the brawl ends and the girl who seemingly started it all looks completely stunned by her victim’s response. Amazingly, the boy who was initially bullied promptly asks if she is “ok.’”
The location of this incident has yet to be revealed or whether there was an investigation.
Along with fast-food restaurants, school buses arguably seem to have become America’s war zone to some degree. Last month, for example, a 15-year-old was viciously assaulted by four other students on a Delaware school bus, with cell phone video recording the apparently unprovoked attack.
On mass transit buses, moreover, there have been several reported instances of passenger-on-passenger violence as well as drivers and passengers getting into physical altercations.
