Luke Bryan And Imagine Dragons Join List of Performers For Billboard Music Awards
Luke Bryan and Imagine Dragons have joined the list of confirmed performers for the 2014 Billboard Music Awards. The two hot musical items are now part of a roster that includes John Legend, OneRepublic and Jason Derulo, according to Billboard.
As reported earlier by The Inquisitr, Luke Bryan and Imagine Dragons are two of the top nominees for this year’s Billboard Music Awards. While Luke Bryan is a top contender in most country categories, Imagine Dragons is tied with Lorde for the most overall nominations.
According to USA Today, Imagine Dragons and Lorde hold 12 nominations each, including top artist, while Luke Bryan is the leading country nominee with seven nominations in six categories. OneRepublic is also on the nominations list with a nomination for top duo/group and top digital song for “Counting Stars”.
The Hollywood Reporter stated that Imagine Dragons is a finalist for Top Artist, Top Duo/Group, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top Rock Artist, Top Rock Album, Top Hot 100 Song, Top Digital Song, Top Streaming Song (Audio), and Top Rock Song twice, for “Demons” and “Radioactive.”
The report also mentions that Luke Bryan is a finalist for Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Country Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Country Album and Top Country Song twice for “Crash My Party” and “That’s My Kind of Night.” John Legend is also a nominee and is up for the fan-voted Milestone Award.
