Mike Tyson giving Evander Holyfield’s ear back is a weird, awkward moment that’s also a bit funny.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Mike Tyson admitted he was an alcoholic and was on the verge of dying. (Although he apparently is better off than Chris Brown.)

Tyson’s life has been filled with controversy after controversy. For example, he claims his ex-wife Robin faked a pregnancy in order to get money out of him. But biting off Evander Holyfield’s ear during the 1997 heavyweight champion fight has been one of those moments that will live on in boxing history long after Tyson is gone and buried.

But according to a new video featuring Mike Tyson, Holyfield’s ear was never buried in the first place. Tyson shows up at Evander Holyfield’s door holding a small box:

“I’m sorry, Evander. It’s your ear. I kept that in formaldehyde.”

And it isn’t like this type of joke is all fake. Since 2009, the boxing pair have rekindled their friendship and Holyfield’s ear even made it into a Twitter promotion about his Real Deal BBQ Sauce:

“My realdealbbqsauce.com will make you take a bite out of someone’s ear! Ask Mike Tyson – Luv ya bro!”

Mike Tyson’s response?

“Holyfield’s ear would’ve been much better with his new BBQ sauce.”

Gross… yet funny. The Mike Tyson video is actually a Foot Locker advertisement. Retired NFL legend Brett Favre (who doesn’t want to return again, thank you very much) makes fun of his own history by telling a waitress “you have to know when to walk away.” Even Craig Sager gets a spot and is shown burning piles of striped suits and blazers.
