LAX Suspect: Shooting Tweeted Live By ‘Mythbusters’ Grant Imahara And Tory Belleci
The LAX shooter, and the entire Los Angeles airport shooting in terminal three, was being witnessed and tweeted live by the Mythbusters duo, Grant Imahara And Tory Belleci.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the LAX shooter opened fire in Terminal three and it was evacuated by police.
The name of the LAX shooter is Paul Anthony Ciancia, a 23 year old Los Angeles man who reportedly holds strong anti-government views. At least six people were injured in the LAX shooting before police were able to confront Ciancia and shoot him. Reports also said a TSA agent was killed in the attack, but apparently that was the point since a hand-written note claimed Ciancia “wanted to kill TSA and pigs.”
Grant Imahara and Tory Belleci tweeted live from the scene of the LAX shooting:
“I was in the Virgin lounge upstairs. Saw everyone pour out of the terminal onto the tarmac. Then I heard shots fired outside. There’s an army of law enforcement from various agencies here. Thanks to the @VirginAmerica staff for swiftly securing the area and keeping us safe.”
Belleci at one point asked, “How the hell did guns get past [security]?” He was referring to the assault rifle reportedly used by the LAX shooter. But other reports say the LAX shooting took place in an area before TSA screening took place.
People apparently ran into the secure areas:
“It’s filling up inside the secured area. People are mostly calm now, but very upset.”
After everything settled down the Mythbusters duo spoke to reporters and relayed more of the details:
“We heard the shots coming from the elevator. One person near me said the shooting happened in the common area. Finally, security opened the door and we ran out on the tarmac. And people were just running everywhere. It was crazy. People were looking for something solid to hide behind, something a bullet wouldn’t pass through.”
After the LAX shooting was over, Discovery released a statement about the incident at the Los Angeles airport:
“Our thoughts are with all those affected by today’s tragedy and our gratitude goes out to the members of the LAPD, Airport Police, TSA, and Virgin America staff for restoring safety to the scene.”
Grant Imahara And Tory Belleci are completely safe and unharmed, with authorities saying they will be rerouted to their destination. Eventually. You know how airports can be even under normal circumstances.

The reason the Mythbusters crew witnessed the LAX shooting was because they were on their way to Delaware to film “Punkin Chunkin.”
