Here’s Why Female Rape Victims Don’t Deserve Sympathy, According To A ‘Men’s Rights’ Activist [Video]

Do you find that whenever there’s a new female rape case in the news, you can hardly bring yourself to care? Good news! You don’t have to, according to Paul Elam, the founder of the website “A Voice For Men.”

Elam, a self-styled “men’s rights activist,” believes a whole lot of weird stuff (like a massive feminist conspiracy to under-report the rape of men so only women can play victim), but the main gist of his message today is that if you don’t give a crap about female rape victims, you really don’t have to.

Why? The field is already saturated, so you simply don’t have to bother.

“I don’t find it particularly hyperbolic for a man to say, ‘I’m not gonna give a damn about female rape victims anymore,'” Elam said in a YouTube video published Sunday. “They have tons of money, of law enforcement, of special programs funded by the government, of social consciousness – schools have Take Back The Night rallies, everything you can possibly think of.”

The purpose of the video is to defend comments made by John “The Other” Hembling, who was quoted by The Daily Beast as having said he doesn’t “give a f*** about rape victims anymore.”

John “The Other” has been tapped as Elam’s successor as A Voice For Men’s leader, notes Raw Story.

“‘John The Other’ makes a video and says, because he’s angry at dealing with these clowns, at doing this, that, ‘I don’t give a damn about rape victims,’ and it’s something to terrorize his reputation with,” Elam continued. “I stand behind John for making that video.”

Then he went into the conspiracy angle we alluded to above.

“We better not ever forget that when it comes to really marginalizing rape victims, to proving you don’t give a sh*t about what happens to people, nobody has anything on feminists when it comes to the subject of rape, nobody, and I don’t want that to go without being said,” Elam said.
