Obama Senior Aide Fired Over Anonymous Twitter Messages Criticizing Administration

An Obama administration senior aide has been fired over anonymous Twitter messages he was reportedly posting, criticizing the administration and republican legislators.

The man, identified as Jofi Joseph, used the account name @natsecwonk to blast the handling of the Benghazi attack on the American embassy on September 11, 2012, which resulted in the death of ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other US citizens who came to his aid.

The Obama senior aide was fired after an internal investigation reveled his true identity and directed officials to his Twitter page.

Joseph began his anti-administration Twitter rants in 2011 sometimes questioning superior’s intelligence and Obama policies.

Jofi Joseph was considered a senior aide at the White House as a member of the National Security Staff team that negotiated on Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

Among those targeted by his blunt tweets were, Valerie Jarrett, former National Security Advisor, Secretary of State John Kerry, and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton among others.

The Obama senior aide called Representative Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, an “a**”, but recognized that he was onto something regarding what he characterized as Clinton’s “whitewash accountability” of the events in Benghazi.

A White House official confirmed on Wednesday, that the senior Obama aide had been fired, but declined further comment, according to the Washington Times.

Here are examples of the critical tweets that were saved by The Daily Beast before the Twitter account of the fired Obama aide was taken down.

I’m a fan of Obama, but his continuing reliance and dependence upon a vacuous cipher like Valerie Jarrett concerns me.

So when will someone do us the favor of getting rid of Sarah Palin and the rest of her white trash family? What utter useless garbage.

For many insiders the revelation on Tuesday night that Jofi Joseph was indeed the Obama aide fired for posting the tweets, came as a shock due to his rank and also because his wife, Carolyn Leddy, is a respected staffer for the Republicans on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

How do you feel about the senior Obama aide fired? Is it wrong or should he be allowed to express himself on Twitter?
