Breaking News: Joe Giudice Sentenced To 41 Months In Prison, Restitution

Joe Giudice has been sentenced to 41 months in prison after being convicted of several federal fraud charges. According to TMZ, Joe will be heading to jail after a judge completely blasted him and his wife, Teresa, for being dishonest when it came to their finances. Joe will also be forced to pay $414,588.90 in restitution and will be required to attend an alcohol treatment program while behind bars. Joe will be on probation for two years after completing his sentence.

Joe’s wife, Teresa Giudice, is still waiting to hear her fate, but the couple did receive a small bit of good news: The judge agreed to stagger the couple’s sentences so that one of them will be home to care for their four daughters. In other words, Joe and Teresa won’t be going to jail at the same time. Joe and Teresa have four girls, Gia, 13, Gabriella, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5.

According to People Magazine, Teresa will serve her sentence first if she is also sentenced to prison.

Many believed that Joe Giudice would be going to jail no matter what. There were some rumors that he was going to be deported but that was not decided today. It’s unknown when the reality star will have to begin his prison sentence, but he will be able to surrender himself, according to the report.

“The judge said that immigration services will not act on Joe’s deportation case until after his sentence is served,” People Magazine reported.

According to The Inquisitr, there was no doubt that Joe was going to be doing time. This news should not have been surprising to either Joe or Teresa, even if they were hoping for a miracle. Joe is also facing jail time for another crime (involving making a fake license for his brother). It has been reported that a judge will allow Joe to serve both sentences simultaneously (if he is sentenced to prison for the other case as well).
