Elon Musk and Donald Trump are back to fighting. After Musk’s exit from the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency, Musk had made a huge ruckus on social media, claiming that Trump’s name was in the Epstein’s files and that was the reason behind the files not being made public.
The tech billionaire however calmed down eventually and even expressed regret. The American President had also participated in the feud that Musk had started and yet when Musk apologized, he seemed to let everything go rather easily.
While it seemed that the two had somehow made up, Musk made it evident that it was something far from happening. He took to X to criticize Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ again and also said that he would campaign against Republicans who support this bill as it would inevitably cause massive financial loss to America.
It should be noted here that when Musk was with the Trump administration, he had supported this very same bill, as the President claims. However, since his exit, he has been quite vocal against it. He started attacking the bill again on Monday and as expected, Trump was not the one to keep quiet.

The American President mentioned that DOGE should perhaps look at the kind of subsidy that Musk’s Tesla receives and put a cut on that as it would ensure a lot of savings. Posting on Truth Social, Trump said, “Elon Musk knew, long before he so strongly Endorsed me for President, that I was strongly against the EV Mandate. It is ridiculous, and was always a major part of my campaign. Electric cars are fine, but not everyone should be forced to own one.”
His post also mentioned, “Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa.” The post further mentioned, “No more Rocket launches, Satellites, or Electric Car Production, and our Country would save a FORTUNE. Perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard, look at this? BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!!!”

Musk however, did not seem to be threatened at all with Trump’s words as he rather dared the President to do it, saying, “I am literally saying CUT IT ALL. Now,” as per a report. Musk seems to be determined to go against Trump as he also mentioned that if this bill passes, he would go ahead with establishing the American Party, which would give the people of America a chance to voice their opinions.
With Musk not inching back with his opinions and Trump hell bent on passing the bill, it now remains to be seen how far their feud goes this time and what finally happens to the Bib Beautiful Bill.
