Tom Cruise has been keeping in touch with his daughter Suri via video chats since his wife Katie Holmes filed for divorce last month. There is no limit on the amount of communication Tom Cruise can have with his 6-year-old daughter Suri, Radar Online reports. When Suri is on a visitation with Cruise, Katie Holmes also is entitled to unlimited communication with their daughter. A source told Radar Online Suri is permitted to call or video chat with her father whenever she would like.
“Tom will be seeing Suri very soon. I don’t know exactly when that will be, and I couldn’t tell you, but I do know it will be very soon. Tom loves his Suri very, very much, as he does his other two children. Tom is a family man and dedicated to his children. They are the center of his world,” according to interview excerpts with Tom Cruise’s attorney Bert Fields republished by The New York Post.
Fields told Radar Online that both Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were advised that video chatting would be a “very useful tool” to aid Suri through the divorce or her parents and to adjust to her new living arrangements. Fields also noted during the interview that “Tom just lights up” when Suri’s face appears on his computer screen. More than 75 percent of the TOMKAT divorce settlement documents pertain to Suri and the terms of the custody agreement.
Cruise just finished filming “Oblivion” in Iceland is may be visiting with Suri as early as next week. E! Online reports that Suri was registered for classes at the Sacred Heart School on the Upper East Side of New York. Tuition at the all-girl’s school is reportedly $38,000 per year. The New York Convent school also educated Lady Gage, Nicky Hilton, Caroline Kennedy and Jordana Brewster.
