A Tinder date did not go as planned for Alyssa, who went to an Airbnb to meet her match. The date turned into a violent situation before it even started. According to the bodycam footage from the incident, the woman was crying, sitting in her car, as the police officer asked her if she needed medical help.

The window of her car was busted as she explained to the officer that her Tinder date, identified as Tanner, brought a dumbbell and smashed it into the window. She and her Tinder date had been texting, and he had invited her to the place he was staying.

She knocked on his door, and he told her to leave since he was not attracted to her. He told her she was not hot. Tanner called her guy and asked her to go home. Alyssa told the police that he went inside and brought a dumbbell. He also pushed her and slammed the car’s door on her foot. The police asked her if they were in an argument, but she denied that.

They also asked her for her driver’s license and if she had insurance. She explained that it was a rental car. While the police were gathering more details from Alyssa, Tanner came toward them and said, “I want her off my property.”

The police started questioning him while he was being defensive. They wanted to know the details from his side of the story. He denied breaking the car window and claimed the police cannot detain him.

Meanwhile, the police detained him and threatened to tase him if he didn’t comply. Considering the broken window and Alyssa’s statement, the police took him into custody. He was charged with battery, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and threatening a public servant.

The bodycam footage of the incident went viral. A former law enforcement officer and MAGA political figure, Sheriff Lamb, reviewed the video on his YouTube channel. He appreciated how the police officers handled the situation. He also added how he would have tackled the man even before questioning.

Several social media users chimed in with their views on the situation. One YouTube user commented, “Hopefully he got kicked out of med school for this. He has no business being a doctor.”

Another one added, “He will kill somebody if he keeps doing this. She needs to stay far away from him and Tinder.” Some people blamed the woman for catfishing the man; she claimed they had met before.

Despite this, the violence towards her was uncalled for, and it turned into a dangerous situation for her. Many gave dating tips such as not to visit a date’s home, as it can turn out to be dangerous, similar to this situation.
