Tamar Braxton allegedly suffered a pretty awkward run-in with producers of The Real, just weeks after she was fired from the daytime talk show.

According to a new report by Page Six, the run-in went down when Tamar found herself and her husband Vince Herbert staying at the same hotel as her former co-workers during Essence Festival in New Orleans last week.

The insider claimed that Tamar and Vince allegedly “kept running into executives from Warner Bros.” while at the Louisiana hotel, which made for some “very uncomfortable” encounters.

The source even claimed that things supposedly got so uncomfortable between the former co-workers that Braxton even allegedly “demanded” that she and Vincent be transferred to another hotel.

“Everyone was talking about how they demanded to leave,” a source told the site, alleging that Tamar Vince only “lasted one night in that hotel” after discovering that The Real crew were also lodging there.

The site did not reveal if Braxton also ran into any of her former The Real co-hosts, including Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Tamera Mowry-Housley, and Jeannie Mai, during her Essence Festival appearance, though the onlooker did note that Tamar appeared to do everything she could to avoid the gaze of her former co-workers.

“She even walked through the lobby with dark black ‘Jackie O’ sunglasses,” the source revealed, adding that Tamar and Vince “were booked into a new hotel room first thing the next morning.”

Reports claiming that Tamar demanded to leave the hotel come just days after Braxton was accused by fans of throwing some serious shade at her former co-stars ahead of her Essence Festival performance.

Tamar Braxton took to social media to promote her appearance at the New Orleans gathering on July 1, tweeting out, “Yayyyy @essencefest @McDonalds excited about being on That Stage with my Sisters #TheBraxtons,” which some fans claimed was Braxton’s way of taking aim at her former co-stars who were also scheduled to appear at the festival.

However, Braxton denied that she was throwing “shade” at her former The Real co-hosts with her tweet after fans suggested that Tamar was implying that she and her sisters were appearing on the more prestigious stage at the show.

“Since when is it ‘SHADE’ by telling every1 @essencefest what Stage u R performing at?” Tamar hit back at fans accusing the star of putting her former co-stars on blast. “Every1 thought I had a show. I was just saying I didn’t.”

The latest reports of drama come just days after fans speculated that Tamar could have been taking aim at The Real once again after the show debuted billboards promoting the show’s appearance at the festival, marking the first time promotional material has been released for the show without Braxton’s image.

The Shade Room took to Instagram on June 26 to show off the recently unveiled billboards, which featured Jeannie, Adrienne, Loni, Jeannie and Tamera.

Tamar did not explicitly reference the recently unveiled promos, though fans speculated that Braxton could have been tweeting about the materials, the first in the show’s history not to feature her, in a message posted just one day after the billboards were first spotted.

“Never worried. Never bothered. Forget that wackness… No matter where it come from,” Braxton wrote on Twitter on June 27. “I’m all the way up.”

But while fans continued to speculate that Tamar’s tweet confirmed there’s still drama behind-the-scenes, Braxton shot down the rumors with a follow-up message posted to the social media site just hours later.

“It’s so deep how people want me 2be mad or have beef,” Braxton hit back at fans accusing her of slamming her former co-hosts on the 140-character site. “I don’t have an issue with ANYONE & don’t want 1… that happens when u grow up #tryit.”
