‘RHOC’ Star Vicki Gunvalson Threatens To Quit, Is Meghan King Edmonds The Reason Why?

Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson may have finally had enough of the drama.

Although the “OG of the OC” has had her fair share of drama during the previous nine seasons of the show, the current season has shown Vicki clashing with not just a few of her costars, but all of them. Then add in the heartbreak of breaking up (again) with longtime love Brooks Ayers.

“Vicki does not need the stress that this season has added to her life. Vicki has not decided yet if she wants to return to the show next season,” a source told Radar Online .

With Season 10 currently airing, don’t expect an official announcement from Vicki anytime soon. “Vicki is going to wait until this season is done to sit down and reassess things before deciding if she is going to continue as the longest running housewife of all time.”

So what reason would Vicki Gunvalson have to leave the show she has helped keep on the air for 10 seasons? Many to be quite frank, but all lead back to her relationship with Ayers.

First, her daughter, Briana Culberson, has long been outspoken about her distaste for her mother’s boyfriend. During a Season 8 reunion, Briana confronted Brooks about a drunken conversation he had with her husband. In the conversation, Brooks told her husband, Ryan, that women need to be put in their place and knocked around. Needless to say, Briana decided at that point to have nothing to do with him.

The drama between the two continues to this day. In a recent episode, Vicki went ballistic when Briana brought up her mother’s relationship and insisted the cameras stop filming. Leaving many viewers to wonder, just what is Vicki hiding?

Much of the current season of the Real Housewives of Orange County has surrounded Vicki and Brooks and whether or not Brooks actually has cancer. Many of the women – led by Meghan King Edmonds – unearthed disturbing inaccuracies in Brooks’ story about his cancer and his refusal to continue with chemo treatments.

All of Brooks’ inconsistencies have even lead Gunvalson’s one-time allies — Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, and Shannon Beador — to question what is really going on.

All of the drama also comes on the heels of the heart-breaking news that Vicki’s mother had suddenly passed away earlier this year. The gut-wrenching phone call was even captured on camera.
