You have to see this public access television clip it literally embodies the spirit of public access tv. I am not sure whether its the supreme editing and camera work that makes it so special. I could be the wonderfully juxtaposed flowers, or the upbeat sunny natures of the singers, who don’t look at all like they have been yanked form the nearest trailer park and made to sing tell it to the mountain at gunpoint.
That last bit might of been a lie, but my lie probably didn’t make baby jesus cry as much as Henrietta and Merna’s singing did.
Eminem, Jenny from the Block and just about every other self styled gangsta rapper led us to believe that if you came from a trailer park and had faith in yourself then you really could have a music career. Henrietta and Merna show us what a bunch of crap that really is.
