Colchester auctions are set to auction off personal letters written by Princess Diana. The 13 letters, written to Diana’s good friend Margeret Hodge are expected to fetch between £10,000 to £15,000 each.
The letters were written over more than a decade (1981 through 1992) and focused on the Princesses early days of marriage to Prince Charles.
One of the letters even has a smudge which was created by a then young Prince William.
Other items at the auction include related possessions from Diana such as Christmas cards.
The auction house responsible for Diane’s items says they are receiving a very large number of inquiries, they have also been responsible for other various Princess Diana auctions over the years.
