Pia Toscano was eliminated this week in one of the biggest upsets in American Idol history and now we have learned that the 22-year-old singer had to be escorted off the Idol stage by medics.
After her elimination Idol judges went after American votes, where Lopez said:
“I’m shocked, I’m angry. I don’t even know what to say.”
While Steven Tyler added:
“I don’t know. America, man. You know, a mistake is one thing, but lack of passion is unforgivable. They’re wrong,” he said. “I don’t know what happened with this. She’s beautiful. When she sings, she’s a bird.”
After hearing about her elimination Pia told L&S:
“I was getting very lightheaded,” while adding, “To be in the position I was in last night was a bit much and a little overwhelming.”
She says after a good nights sleep she felt much better.
