The youngest Press Secretary in the history of The White House, Karoline Leavitt is a spotlight stealer in the true sense of the term. Being Donald Trump’s press secretary, she fiercely defends all his opinions and claims, regardless of their factual accuracy.
Besides her political career, Leavitt’s personal life also draws significant attention, especially her marriage to Nicholas Riccio, who is 32 years older than her.
Recently, she became a hot topic of discussion again following her post on Instagram on June 28 that showed her at the Oval office wearing a sleek black dress and black pumps that highlighted her toned legs. She captioned the image, “Have a great weekend, everyone!”

The image naturally drew a lot of attention as Leavitt’s posts does and one user commented, “Press Secretary got body and face.” Another added, “You are a certified baddie.” However, among the comments that showered her with praises, there were also people who drew out a rather sinister reference from Leavitt’s picture.
Some commenters were reminded of Monica Lewinsky, whose affair with American President Bill Clinton remains one of the most infamous scandals of The White House. When Clinton was the President back in 1997, he and Lewinsky had an affair that went on for almost 2 years and after everything came to light, the case went to court.
Leavitt’s picture made one person throw a reference to one dress of Lewinsky that was stained after one of her encounters with the President and was later used in Clinton’s impeachment. Referring to the same, one user commented, “Monica Lewinsky, 2.0 the dress might have significant evidence on it in the future.”
Since Leavitt’s marriage is already under a lot of scrutiny because of the age gap between her and her husband, the comments also referred to her possibly succeeding Melania Trump if the American President gets divorced.
Pointing out the same, one commenter said, “She’s gonna leave her 63-year-old husband the moment Melania files for divorce. Then she’s gonna try and swoop in to be Trump’s 4th wife.” Given the fact that there are already rumors about Donald and Melania’s marriage hitting the rocks, such comments seem valid from a troll’s point of view.

It should be noted here that besides the age gap, Leavitt’s marriage has also been criticized because of how insanely rich her husband is and it is often speculated that she married him for money only. Given the kind life that Leavitt leads, with always spotting designer dresses and handbags, it is true that without her husband, supporting such luxury would not have been possible with the salary she gets as the Press Secretary.
However, Leavitt has always mentioned that she and Riccio married out of love and the couple appears to be on great terms in public. They also have a son together and while netizens keep making such nasty comments about her, Leavitt keeps showing up and doing the job she is paid to do.
