Meet Amani, the latest addition to the Detroit Zoo.
The baby aardvark was born December 8 to mother Rachaael and father Mchimbaji weighing 3 pounds, 10 ounces (1.65kg) and measuring 23 inches (58cm).
According to local reports, Zoo officials are awaiting DNA test results to determine the sex.
Amani is Swahili for Peace.
The only question for us though: is Amani cute or ugly…or possibly both?
