The LG Optimus G Android superphone will make its US debut in November, two months after making its home debut.

While LG has not yet managed to secure a competitive foothold in the Google Android market in the United States, the company’s “superphone” — as it is being called — should place the device’s performance well ahead of the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III quad-core variant.

The new mobile device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro ‘Krait’ quad-core chip, which powers a custom ARM-based design that has been clocked at 1.5GHz. That processor is then synced up with 2GB of RAM.

The LG Optimus G also features blazing fast 4g LTE capabilities ,which help support its Google Android 4.0.4 ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ build.

Throw in a super clear 4.7-inch WXGA IPS-LCD display with a resolution of 1280×768 and a 15:9 aspect ratio, and its easy to see why this new smartphone is an exciting option.

LG also throws in 32GB on-board storage. The phone also features 8 megapixels, although some markets have a 13 megapixel option outside of the United States. Video conference users also receive a 1.3 megapixel frontside camera.

While the Optimus G is powerful, it is also not a memory hog, providing up to 15 hours of talk time and 335 hours of standby thanks to a large 2,100mAh battery.

Connectivity on the device includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, MHL, DLNA, and NFC.

Are you willing to give the LG Optimus G a try when compared against other devices in an already crowded Google Android iOS smartphone market?
