Kim Kardashian Desperate To Land ‘Vogue’ Cover Without Kanye West — Will Anna Wintour Approve?

It has been two years since Kim Kardashian shocked the world by gracing the cover of Vogue magazine alongside her rapper husband Kanye West.

According to reports, Anna Wintour made the daring move to have the reality star on the cover after being convinced by West, who happens to be a close pal to the fashion mogul.

Life & Style alleges that Kim had so much fun during the shoot, she wants to do it again in the near future — just not with Kanye. A source for the outlet alleges that the reality star thinks she’s credible enough to cover the mag by herself this time.

The sales for her issue with Kanye were solid, and Kim knows that if she does another controversial photoshoot similar to the one she did with Paper magazine, she could potentially have one of the best-selling Vogue issues that the company has ever had.

Kim “wants to break the magazine racks,” the source reveals. “The reality star has another ‘Vogue’ cover in her sights. She has become obsessed with appearing on the cover of ‘Vogue’ alone and has been calling Anna Wintour and sending her flowers on a weekly basis.”

Wintour seems to have grown close with Kim, who she sat next to at Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion exhibition at Madison Square Garden back in February. The twosome discussed Kanye’s new collection, along with the material and models who were presenting the clothes, giving Kim all the more reason to believe that Anna is beginning to warm up to her.

But a source begs to differ, stressing that, while Wintour has made more of an effort to communicate with Kim Kardashian, who helped Vogue sell an indisputable amount of copies with her issue, Anna isn’t exactly keen on the idea of having the reality star grace the cover by herself.

A source explains that while the fashionista is open to other concepts involving Kim on the cover, Kardashian is desperate to have a shot on her own.

“Anna isn’t receptive to a solo Kim cover. She has suggested Kim appear with her kids, but Kim isn’t budging,” the insider concluded.

What is Anna Wintour telling loyal fans of the brand with the idea that the likes of Kim Kardashian can obtain the magazine cover of a very well-respected outlet such as Vogue?

If rumors are true that Anna has made Kim the offer to grace the cover with her children, the magazine will evidently be diverting from the fashion based formula they were once strictly settled on. Could Kim’s second time covering the magazine then begin to open doors for other reality stars to do the same?

News of Kim Kardashian’s desire to grace the cover of Vogue again comes just weeks after socialite Kylie Jenner made her debut at the Met Gala. The 18-year-old caused outrage for being invited to the fashion event, particularly since her invitation also allowed Jenner to bring rapper Tyga to the event.
