Jimmy Kimmel can’t stop coming after the Trumps as he once again puts them in his crosshairs. This time, he skewers Melania Trump for her peace talks at the United Nations Security Council, as her husband, President Donald Trump, waged war on Iran.
In the most recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host targeted the FLOTUS, stating that this was the first time the First Lady had presided over a Security Council meeting. He joked that it was while Trump was launching strikes on Iran.

The host showed a picture of her standing between other UN officials, calling it the “worst season of the Bachelorette yet.” But he praised her for handling the meeting like a seasoned veteran, and showed a clip of her struggling to utter the pleasantries of the meeting.
Kimmel mimicked Melania Trump’s accent and said, “My husband wanted to be here, but your escalator is trying to kill him.” He explained that the agenda of the meeting was to promote education as a means to advance tolerance and peace around the world.
He stated such events are largely ceremonial, and the appearance of the “spouse of the leader of the free world is significant.” He mocked her for mispronouncing “significant,” uttering it as “signifisant.”
The host joked,
“Those poor UN translators. I mean, how do you say ‘democratising’ in Chinese? In fairness, she had a very long day trying on hats.”
The feud between the late-night talk show host and Trump led to him being suspended indefinitely for his comments about the killing of Charlie Kirk. Though Kimmel returned shortly after, as late-night shows don’t actually brainwash masses.
Needless to say, this move pulled widespread criticism from the masses, raising questions about freedom of speech in the United States. In a separate report from the BBC, Melania Trump pointed out that children are the first ones to suffer. She criticised that Tehran’s military strikes forced schools in Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman to shut down.

However, it was deeply disappointing because Tehran’s officials reported that a military strike hit an elementary school in the town of Minab, killing 153 children. Iran jointly blames the USA and Israel for these casualties. However, the US officials stated that they were still looking into the incident. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, “The United States will not deliberately target a school.”
Meanwhile, Israel’s military said it was ‘not aware’ of such operations taking place in the region.
