Jana Duggar let the world in on a secret — she thinks her twin brother, John-David, would be great helping her find a husband! Although Jana confirmed she isn’t looking right now, she thinks her twin brother’s “wisdom” would help her land the ideal partner. John-David, meanwhile, admits he’s looking for his own partner, adding that he doesn’t do his own laundry because his sisters love doing it themselves.
In the latest episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On , Jana reveals that “John would be great at finding somebody” for her, since John-David Duggar “has a lot of wisdom in that area” and she trusts his opinion.
While neither twin is in a courtship as of right now, they’re both looking and not exactly coming up empty-handed. Jana Duggar revealed in an on-camera interview that she and John-David will exchange dating advice , and she relies on it because “[g]uys know guys better.” Similarly, John-David looks to his twin sister for hints since “[g]irls know girls better.”
The Duggar twins are picky, however. Jana confessed that while there have been a few different guys that have asked her out, “they haven’t been the right one,” and Jana is waiting for Mr. Right.
“It’s just one of those things,” Duggar added, explaining that she is “not just out to get married to the first one who comes along.”
John-David is just as picky about his sister’s suitors and reveals in the episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting on that he’ll run a background check on any guy who Jana asks about. Duggar has yet to approve any guy that shows interest in Jana.

As for himself, John-David said that while he’s looking, he hasn’t found the right girl yet.
“I don’t know what I’m looking for really,” Duggar revealed in an on-camera interview, adding that while he’s not sure what kind of woman he wants, he’s definitely “looking for the one.” Still, both twins agree they’re each other’s support, and “[i]t’s kind of nice because we can just help each other out in that way,” Jana concluded.
John-David made headlines last year after revealing that following the Josh Duggar scandals, he lost a lot of respect for his older brother. In an on-screen interview during the three-part series of Jill & Jessa: Counting On , Duggar tearfully revealed that he was disappointed in Josh, adding that he didn’t know who his brother really is anymore. Duggar concluded that he didn’t want to be like Josh anymore, whereas previously, he idolized his older sibling.
In the most recent episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On , Jana spends time with Jessa and Anna Duggar and butts heads with her brother over building a tree house. In one scene, Jessa leaves baby Spurgeon home with Ben for the first time alone while grabbing a bite to eat with Jana and Anna. Naturally, nothing exciting happens while Ben and Spurgeon are home alone, but Jessa is still shocked.

The tree house, however, comes with drama of its own . When planning the project, Jana originally had one idea in mind. But her brothers have a different plan, and Duggar is eventually convinced to make the tree house bigger than she ever imagined!
In an on-camera interview, John-David reveals that after first discussing the tree house with Jana, “she was kind of kicking around [that we could] do a small thing or something.” But “Joe and I kind of were like, ‘Man, we could really do something big,’” Duggar recalls, adding that Jana wasn’t on board at first, but her brother was finally able to convince her that “the bigger the better.”
