On some level, most of us knew that the newest member of the Kardashian bloodline, little Dream Renee Kardashian, daughter of Rob and video vixen Blac Chyna, would be immediately overexposed to the public. And just as we all foreshadowed, the 3-day-old baby girl has indeed been making the entertainment rounds without ever completely detaching from her mother’s nurturing breast.
Not less than 24 hours after her birth, it was confirmed through E! Online an E! Network special documenting her entrance to the world would be hitting the airwaves in less a month. In the meantime, however, her proud reality star parents, Rob and Chyna, have been chronicling her every waking (and occasionally, not so awoken) moment through images and videos plastered all over Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook.

To an extent, as troubling as the distasteful act of treating newborn Dream as a hot commodity has been, it hasn’t been that much of a shock to see it occurring. At the end of the day, her last name, although not of her choosing, does possess a certain level of shamelessness. Case in point: her notorious aunt, Kim Kardashian West, has more or less made a name and life for herself by promoting herself as a product to be consumed by an ever-hungry horde of folks who crave greed, lavishness, and beauty, despite not having much of any of those things within their own lives.
With that being said, though, Kim is a grown, married woman who has the basic mental and emotional capacity to choose what and what not to display to the world (which wasn’t much, until that scary robbery in Paris, as noted by the Inquisitr , seemed to change her ways a bit ). Dream Kardashian, on the other hand, possesses neither of those things, mostly because she’s not even a week old yet. Nonetheless, that hasn’t stopped her parents from forcing her to accept her position as a public figure by not just creating a Facebook profile in her name, but having it verified as well.

Let that sink in for a moment: a 3-day-old baby who, along with other hindrances, cannot even see the splash of blue that surrounds the check mark of her verified Facebook profile — babies are colorblind for the first few weeks of their life, as Bausch & Lomb states — has a verified Facebook profile. Oh, and as The Jasmine Brand mentions, an official Instagram profile , too.
And here we all thought North West was the one who might need therapy someday.
To say that this goes well beyond the depravity that the Kardashians are pretty well known for is probably the understatement to end all understatements. Who, in their right mind, if there’s even a “right mind” in play here, willingly and ruthlessly shills out a baby to the public eye in hopes of retaining a level of undeserved relevance that they already possess? Was the million of dollars in both Rob and Chyna’s bank accounts not enough to soothe their desire for fame? How low can they truly get?
And by the way, wasn’t sock-designing Rob, at one point, completely against being everything that the Kardashians are? It was one of the reasons why, along with his expanding waistline, that he all but disappeared from Keeping Up With The Kardashians a few years back.
“Rob feels that the reality show has truly ruined his family,” a source reportedly told Radar Online in 2014, adding that it was also the reason for the temporary deletion of many of his social media accounts.

Again, like Kim, Rob and Chyna are both old enough to decide what kind of image they want to show the world, but when it comes to the blank slate that is Dream Kardashian, they should be a lot more protective and respectful of it. She is not a girl and she is definitely not a woman, and she deserves to live an ordinary life as much as she possibly can, before having to face the choice of how extraordinary she wants it to be.
Also, to the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerburg? Shame on you for allowing this to happen, dude — seriously.
