Kim Kardashian’s Social Media Comeback Didn’t Happen After All

Kim Kardashian reportedly took a social media break after she was robbed and held at gunpoint in her Paris apartment. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star deeply regrets the way she shows off her lavish lifestyle on her social media accounts. It’s been nearly a month since Kim has posted to Snapchat, Instagram, or Twitter.

Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian seemed to ready to come back to social media. After she took a social media absence following her traumatic Paris invasion and robbery, Kim Kardashian shared three new posts on Facebook on Monday night, including a photo of herself sitting in a chair and getting glammed up while looking at her phone, as previously reported via People.

“Downtime #LumeeCollab,” the 36-year-old mother-of-two wrote in the caption. The hashtag was a shout out to her cellphone case, which features a light for taking better selfies. The photo was then deleted less than 24 hours after it was posted. It also appeared to be an old photo of Kim when she used to own the 2011 BlackBerry Bold, which she previously expressed she missed back in August.

Kardashian West also posted and then deleted a link to her blog, where she copied Kourtney’s throwback to early Halloweens in the Kardashian household.

“Love those old videos!” she wrote, giving credit to her older sister. Both of the posts appeared to be scheduled posts, but it looks like Kim is not ready to come back to social media just yet. She is still keeping a low profile following her robbery and attack in Parris.

“The posts were an error. She’s still figuring out when is the right time for her to come back,” an insider reportedly told celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

On October 2, Kim was robbed and held at gunpoint by five masked men who dressed up as policemen and stole millions of dollars in jewelry from the reality star. She even had a low-key 36th birthday and Halloween, choosing to stay at home with her family and friends. However, Kim has been seen out and about attending husband Kanye West’s concerts, going on an ice cream run with best friend Jonathan Cheban, and attending Kendall Jenner’s 21st birthday party.

“She is still figuring out her life. She still has no plans for any work appearances, but her outlook on life seems more positive,” an insider previously revealed to People, adding that Kim “has calmed down a lot since the robbery.”

Kardashian did make a return to Twitter when she supposedly downsized her follow list. She also liked an article that dissed Taylor Swift. While Kardashian has kept quiet about the major topics in her life, she has made her return to Twitter in the early hours of Oct. 28, where she took her latest digs on Swift by liking a tweet speculating that Swift’s former boyfriend Calvin Harris was throwing the singer shade in his new music video, as previously reported via the Inquisitr.

Fans noticed screengrabs of Kim’s alleged Twitter activity, which showed that she liked a tweet from Us Weekly that boasted the question, “Is Calvin Harris shading ex Taylor Swift in his new “My Way” music video?”

Kim appeared to be in “good spirits” at Kendall Jenner’s birthday party, according to a new People report. She managed to avoid the paparazzi when she attended the star-studded bash at hot spots Delilah and Catch LA, which included the likes of Hailey Baldwin, Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, and Scott Disick.

“Nothing took away from the happy vibe despite Kim’s recent trauma. She gave Kendall a sweet card and some jewelry. Kendall was visibly touched by the card,” added the source.

While Kardashian stays away from social media, she has surprised Jenner with her own Kimoji recreation of her teleprompter flub at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
