Dozens of dolphins are still alive because of a group of well-meaning beachgoers in Brazil.

A video has surfaced showing a group of dolphins as they swim up onto the shore of a popular beach along the Rio de Janeiro state coastline.

The dolphins swim too close to the shore and get trapped in the shallow waters. Thankfully, they swam up on a crowded beach.

Within minutes the Brazilian beachgoers jump into the water and start trying to free the dolphins.

The Brazilian people are seen pushing and dragging the dolphins back out into the water until it’s deep enough for them to turn around by themselves.

The people keep working until all of the dolphins are off the beach and back in the water. Once all the dolphins are safe, the crowd erupts in applause.

Here’s the video of the dolphins being saved in Brazil.
