Donald Trump winning the Nobel Peace Prize isn’t a farfetched idea! His chances of winning the prize are high amidst his role in the Ukraine war peace. Besides, he’s desperate to get the award as Barack Obama won it back in 2009.
Against the odds, Trump is the president for the second time. Even after Harris’s efforts and endorsement by the former president, he won the election. According to the betting market, if we calculate the odds, Trump’s odds were at +1100 earlier.
They are at +650 now as he is relentlessly trying to get Ukraine and Russia to consider peace talks.
Potential winners such as Tim Friede and Julian Assange are behind Trump in the race to win the award. Even with these odds, Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a politician from Norway, disagrees and says it’ll be tough for him to win.
Trump’s tariffs and how he’s been dictating Europe is scary for people, and they feel uncertain about what will happen. So currently his odds of winning the Nobel peace prize are low.

Just after taking office for the second time, R-Bonsall and Darrell Issa nominated Trump. He hasn’t achieved much in a few weeks, but he still has the nomination. Issa claims that Trump has advocated for peace through strength, and even before winning the elections, he started his work ten weeks before to ensure peace in different parts of the world.
Till now, four presidents have won the Nobel Prize, including Obama, Jimmy Carter, Theodore Roosevelt, and Woodrow Wilson. Could Trump be the fifth one?
Trump has been saying he deserves the award for all the work he has done. He was asked about the same at his Oval Oval Office meeting in February Even when he said, “I deserve it,” he thinks he will never be given the Nobel Peace Prize. He says that although he deserves the award, he’ll never be given it in a complaining tone.
During his Las Vegas rally, he spoke to the crowd about it, saying they gave the award to Obama! We can see how obsessed he has become with the Peace Prize. He continues with Obama not knowing why he won the award, yet he still got it. Just getting elected may have gotten him the award, according to Trump. He went on to say that his re-election was crazier, bigger, and better yet, he hadn’t gotten the award.
Trump should arguably get the Nobel Peace Prize for his actions today.

Trump also talked about his political stance. Had he been in another party or had a different affiliation, he would have won the award by now. So, he thinks there is bias involved in who wins the award. He further clarified that anyone else who would have helped UAE, Bahrain, and Israel in 2020 would have won, but he didn’t.
In another rally at Detroit, he said, “If it was anybody else, a liberal Democrat, they would have had it before the damn thing was even signed.” Let’s see if Trump gets the Nobel Peace Prize that’ll be awarded on December 10 this year.
