Donald Trump’s health scares have been on the news for a while now. Since his last public disappearance for almost a week that caused speculations of the President being dead, things have not gotten any better.
Recently, Gavin Newsom again fueled the rumors about Trump doing poorly as the California Governor wanted to know the whereabouts of the President. The US entered its second day of the Government shutdown on Thursday and Newsom decided to take to X to bash the President for not making an appearance.
The official Newsom’s press office account posted on X, “HAS ANYONE SEEN DOZY DON SINCE HE SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT?”
The post further added, ARE STAFF POSTING SINCE “THE STROKE?””

The usage of all capital letters was a clear jab at Trump and his style of posting on social media.
The post naturally drew the attention of netizens as they responded with probable answers regarding Newsom’s question. One user commented, “He’s comfort eating after his failure to keep the government open.” Another one added, “Yes he’s posting AI videos nonstop on Truth Social like a 12 year-old.”
A third user mentioned, “Hiding at his golf course again lol.” Other users came forward with more serious explanations, as one person said, “JD had been the only spokesman since. Trump was pulled after his speech to the military. His head was cocked left the whole time.”
A second user mentioned, “His handlers seem to be keeping him out of sight until he leaves for another golf trip this weekend. I am sure that the auto-pen is being used a lot right now.”
Another one added, “Which stroke? One, two, five…He’s still wearing that heart monitor thing, you can see it on his right shoulder. Think the lack of blood flow to Trump’s brain has sped up the dementia.”
The dementia concerns were mentioned in other comments as well, since a user said, “He has dementia. They lock him in a room with Fox News on the TV.” Another one added, “You got to take mental health days when you have his condition.”
Trump’s health concerns have been rapidly going up and his sudden disappearances from the public only add more concern regarding the issue. Trump’s bruised hands have previously been a source of worry, though Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt tried her best to shut down that speculation by saying the bruises were a result of the constant handshakes that the President has to do.
Previously, the White House claimed that Trump was in good health after his medical examination was done. However, Trump’s public behavior and speeches paint a different picture and those offer enough evidence of him not doing well.
Trump’s niece, Mary Trump has also been quite vocal about the President’s declining cognitive abilities and also addressed the ongoing dementia concerns. With Newsom now doubling down on Trump’s whereabouts, it now remains to be seen how his administration deals with the situation.
