Dr. Bruce Davidson claimed that Donald Trump had a stroke, as he pointed out several symptoms and aftereffects. Davidson, who is a professor at Washington State University’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and has treated several stroke patients, mentioned that such symptoms are noticeable in the patients.
He said on the Daily Beast podcast, “Earlier in the year, there was a video of him shuffling, and I thought that was weird. Then I saw him cradling his right hand in his left, which is a common, involuntary thing that people with strokes have done when they have weakness on one side.
Davidson noted that Trump noticeably garbles words, but earlier this year, the frequency of that increased. Trump’s hands are always bruised with blue and purple marks, which he tries to cover up using the wrong shade of concealer. Sometimes he puts one hand on the other to cover the bruise.

Many people have noticed the bruised hands on different occasions. At first, the White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed it was due to constant handshaking. Later, Trump revealed he had been taking 325mg of aspirin every day, which might have caused the bruising. He explained the doctors have prescribed it for heart health and to keep his blood thin. On Tuesday, Trump revealed his medical at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center went perfectly, but medical experts don’t believe it.
Davidson pointed out that aspirin can also be the prescribed medication to treat the after-effects of the stroke. He claimed that Trump has gotten better after the alleged stroke with the right treatment. Davidson further added, “and now… based on what I’m observing, he’s suffering two kinds of complications from stroke.” He explained that the sleep pattern where Trump does not sleep at night is one of the effects of a stroke.
It is common after strokes for people to have sleep disturbances, and normal sleep is critically important for all of us. Still, particularly after you’ve had a stroke because the brain has what we call plasticity, that is, it can repair itself and does that primarily during sleep,” said Davidson.

Another medical expert, Dr. Jonathan Reiner, also weighed in on Trump’s insomnia, which is a major sign of a recent stroke. Meanwhile, Trump is often captured on camera dozing off during events and conferences. This suggests he barely gets any sleep at night.
Trump will turn 80 on June 14, and his health has been a hot topic for everyone. With his swollen ankles or bruised hands making headlines, many people speculate whether he’s fit to serve as the president. In a YouGov poll, 48 percent believed that he’s too old to be in the office.
