Meet Julian Kreusser, a 5 year old with a difference: he has his own cooking show on Portland TV.
Airing at 6:30 p.m. Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays on Channel 23 in Portland and east Multnomah County, Big Kitchen with Food features the cute 5 year old sharing loving recipes such as Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread and Chef Julian’s “Persinnamon” Smoothie.
According to local reports , Julian’s show is part of his home-schooling, with his parents seeing the show as a way for him to both learn, and share with others. Filming is a family project, with Julian’s 2 1/2-year-old sister, Eva, working the lights, his mom directing and occasionally shooting, and his dad, also a producer for the community station the show airs on, runs the camera and editing software.
