Cheryl Holdridge , an actress made famous from her role on “The Mickey Mouse Club,” has died. Holdridge had suffered from lung cancer for the past two years. She was 64 years old.

Cheryl Holdridge was only 11 when she was cast as an actress on “The Mickey Mouse Club” in 1956. She joined the show as a Mouseketeer in its second season and become a key member of the ensemble, joining such performers as Annette Funicello and Doreen Tracey . She was said to have been one of the most popular “Mickey Mouse Club” actresses.
Holdridge’s Post-Mickey Career
Following her run on “The Mickey Mouse Club,” Cheryl Holdridge went on to play a recurring role in “Leave it to Beaver.” Holdridge was Julie Foster, Wally’s girlfriend, for two seasons. She also appeared in guest spots in such programs as “My Three Sons,” “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” and “Bewitched.”

Cheryl Holdridge stopped acting in the mid-60s when she got married. Her husband — Lance Reventlow, whose mother was the heiress to the Woolworth business — died in a plane crash eight years later. Holdridge remarried in 1994. Her second husband passed away in 2000. Holdridge has no immediate family members remaining.
